so i just broke up with my jw boyfriend of over two years, nearly three.
when i met him he was disfellowshipped and i didn't find out he was a jehovah's witness unitl 4 months into the relationship.
six month into he was reinstated with the caution of getting rid of me, but he didnt.
There must be someone without all that baggage. He has been dishonest (he has to be or he loses his family). He has to choose between you and all the rest of his life. He will be conflicted and unhappy if he does not make that decision.
At best you will only have half a man until he makes the break.
He makes the break or you are in limbo.

apostates undercover elders (i know there are some professed elders on here) have you ever handled a jc envoling a publisher viewing sites like jwn or others and who question the gb etc.. and if not what if you were assigned a jc involving apostacy?.

in accordance with the resolution of congress of april 2nd, and with the proclamation of the president of the united states of may 11, it is suggested that the lord's people everywhere make may 30th a day of prayer and supplication.
god was graciously pleased to cause the nation to be formed and to grow under the most favorable conditions in the world for the preservation of liberty, civil and religious.

Of course being Jehovah's organization why would we not talk about it.
Does any one know why this is the case? You won't find it in print but believe me that is the latest instuction to the elders.
it seems to me with all the times being cut from talks, you could save further time and simply smash all the meetings into one on the weekend.
this would also save the need for those extra kingdom hall songs, and one trip to the kh.
with all these savings, jws could easily double their ministry..
I see BS insinuating itself throughout all the meetings. Bullsheeeeet.

bonafide's thread reminded me of this and how unethical and insensitive it was for jehovah's witnesses meetings to go on without stopping while some rank and file members were having medical emergencies right in the kingdom hall.
my experience i will never forget.. in 1983 i was among some pioneers who were giving experiences at a circuit assembly in front of a crowd of about 2,000. this 83 year old sister was standing at the microphone and when she got done with her part - she sat next to me in her chair on the stage.
Recollection 2. The worst thing I ever heard of was the CO giving his talk during his visit. His WIFE collapsed and was taken to hospital where she died. The CO just carried on and finished his talk. What a compassionate man! It was not long before he had found a younger replacement. What a prick.

Recollection 1. A brother was taking a wedding. He was not in the best of health but he got through the talk without incident and was just about to handle the vows when he collapsed in a heap on th platform. Four brothers marched onto the platform and picked him up, one carrying each limb. They walked out of the hall strutting in a self-important sort of way. The poor brother flopping unconsciously looked like a star-fish as he was removed from the scene. The couple just stood there looking at the empty platform.
Brother Smooth just stepped in and caaried on as if nothing had happened.
i will be 60 tomorrow.
on the one hand, it's just a number.

It's a distant fond memory for me. Just enjoy your life, wake up and smell the ----------.
In the end it doesn't mean a thing, just think back to all the millenium fuss, all forgotten. 60 is the new 40.
